Lurid ruby. Candied red and blue fruits, Indian spices and smoky minerals on the deeply perfumed nose, accompanied by a lavender nuance in the background. Juicy and precise, offering sappy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and turn sweeter on the back half. Sweet, seamless and broad on the palate, offering intense raspberry liqueur and spicecake flavors that tighten up steadily on the back half. Brilliant ruby-red. Aromas of ripe red berries, garrigue and dried flowers develop a hint of white pepper as the wine opens up. Juicy and expansive on the palate, offering sweet, spice-tinged raspberry and floral pastille flavors given lift and spine by a jolt of tangy acidity.
